Through your studies of the employment relationship and industrial relations, you will come to appreciate how the evolution of Labour Law reflects the trends and economic forces of contemporary society.

You will come to see just how difficult it is to balance firms’ need for flexibility with the protection of the worker – in other words, to find a just equilibrium between employers’ interests and workers’ rights.

In this light, this site provides you principally with documents and information on International Law, Community Law and, Comparative Labour Law.

Indeed, it is only through the comparison of various different legal systems that you will better be able to understand your studies, to identify “best practices,” and, above all, to develop a critical approach to them.
